Barenaked Ladies: BNL Rock Red Rocks

Barenaked Ladies -- BNL Rocks Red Rocks (Warner Music Canada): Recorded at the Red Rocks Park amphitheatre outside Denver in June 2015, this 16-track collection captures the band's onstage camaraderie and musicianship that have helped them become what their first song only dreamed about and survive in a changing musical landscape for now over a quarter-century.

Included are all the hits --  “One Week,” “Pinch Me, “If I Had $1,000,000” - plus songs from their last two records including “Odds Are” (Top 20 at Canadian AC radio), and the most recent single “Duct Tape Heart” from their latest studio album Silverball. BNL is also joined by Men At Work's Colin Hay for a version of his #1 hit “Who Can It Be Now" with Violent Femmes Blaise Garza delivering the song's scorching sax solo that lifts this song to the heavens. As well, a performance of "The Old Apartment' that became BNL's first US hit. The Ladies are on an extended US tour this summer with Howard Jones and OMD.

Set for release tomorrow (Friday, 20th), the album was serviced to radio via DMS yesterday.
