Cadence Music Group is pleased to report the expansion of the company's creative team with the addition of Matt Vlahovich as A&R Manager.
In a statement released this morning, the Canadian entertainment firm states that "the new hire is a continued investment in Cadence Music Group's dedication to bringing new and diverse talent into their roster."
The musician-producer with a master's degree in International Relations is reporting to CEO Iain Taylor and working alongside Andy Hawke and Cole Stephenson.
Stephenson will be expanding his role outside his own label, Physical Presents, to oversee the Cadence Music Group A&R team.
Vlahovich's past experience includes fronting the Young Empires as the lead-singer of the vaunted rhythmic pop group that hit it big with "White Doves" and won three MMVA nominations, as well as a Juno nom in 2016 for Group of the Year.
Prior to joining Cadence, Vlahovich also held a position with global consulting company Accenture where he honed his skills in marketing and communications.
Taylor describes him as "a creative and strategic thinker with a deep understanding brand development and marketing," adding that he will prove to be "a great asset to the Cadence Music Group team."
He officially joins the firm this Friday at The Junos in Ottawa.
