Adam Gregory: Dirt Road Therapy

Adam Gregory - “Dirt Road Therapy” (Independent): It has been five years since country star Adam Gregory released his fifth album, Different Places. That lengthy a gap between records seems an eternity in country music, so his fans will be pleased to learn a new album follows in early 2018.

To ease the wait, this single is robust enough to bring Gregory back to the attention of radio and the public.

Reflecting on the next album, in a press release, Gregory notes that “My life throughout my musical career, and in particular at the personal end as a new father, has come with a lot of lessons that have allowed me to evolve. I feel that this album is a total reflection of that.”

Referencing "Dirt Road Therapy" and the theme of the virtues of a long drive in clearing one's head, he explains that “This song spoke to me from the minute I heard it, from its catchy beat right down to its meaning. It holds one of life's remedies, and it's not even a secret."

The singer turns in a robust performance, and there is enough flow in the song to keep one's interest, while the sound is an appealing mix of the classic (pedal steel) and the contemporary.

Gregory's 2000 debut album, The Way I'm Made, earned gold certification and elicited two Juno award nominations.

He has several performances slated, including the Big Valley Jamboree in Alberta on Aug. 6th and at Summer Sessions in Stony Plain, AB, on Aug. 9th. Anya Wilson is handling publicity.
