Max Martin Wins ASCAP Songwriter of the Year

MAX MARTIN, the Swedish music producer and songwriter, has won the Songwriter Of The Year award at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards for the 5th consecutive year, and the 8th time in his career. 

Since 1999, Martin has written or co-written 20 Billboard Hot 100 number-one hits (most of which he has also produced or co-produced), including "So What" by Pink, "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry, "Hold It Against Me" by Britney Spears, "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift, and "One More Night" by Maroon 5.
