Starbucks Promoting Spotify

After dumping in-store CD sales earlier this year, Starbucks will be heavily promoting Spotify in its barista bars starting this fall. This includes signing up its 150,000 US-based employees for a Spotify Premium subscription, and giving them the authority to create playable playlists in their respective stores. 

The program is expected to roll out in Canada and other territories shortly after. Spotify is also tipped to be introducing video to its premium service.
