Rush's R40 40th-anniversary farewell tour wrapped Aug. 1st in Inglewood, CA, Billed as the trio's last major road trek, the 35 shows grossed north of $40M and attracted some of the largest box-office attendances ever for the Canadian trio. On Nov. 20th, R40 Live, the concert film, is set for release. The band website teases fans with the suggestion that further details about the release are to follow, perhaps indicating that the tour film will premiere on the big screen in select theatres, followed by the release of the DVD, Blu-ray and CD editions. Meantime, an advance CD track from R40 Live, the CD, has just been released, entitled "Throw the Bones" — a ripping edition of a throwback song that was included in a 1991 album of the same name.
Here's the track that is now available at most all online music stores..
