Christmas has come early this year. It used to be the shops kept huckster Santa and his kit of commercialism out of view until the ghoulish hedo-hustle known as Halloween was tucked six feet under. FYI has received at least two e-mails hyping upcoming new albums, no doubt brimming with joy, bon homme and kitted out with chestnuts as fresh as homo erectus' bones.

Bah humbug to all and each. Lest not you think I am as cold as Ebenezer's coals, I thought it might pleasure all to ring in the season with The Killers' "Christmas In L.A. (with Owen Wilson)."
