Johnny Reid's What Love Is All About 2016 Tour Announced

The multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter's 37-show tour opens on February 1st at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, and includes two-night stands in Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, and three nights in Winnipeg. The tour supports his latest What Love Is All About album that will be released Nov. 13th via Universal Music Canada. The show dates mostly play 3,000-plus seat venues. Reid stops at Massey Hall on March 21. The last announced concert is at the Cornerbrook Civic Centre on April 4th.

The tour also packages appearances with Natalie MacMaster (who shares Reid's producer Bob Ezrin on her own duo album with husband Donnell Leahy on the True North album, One). Also on the tour are new Warner Canada signing Aaron Goodvin (his single, "Knock On Wood" is released today) and Calgary's Americana-styled singer-songwriter JJ Shiplett.

Reid is partnering with Plus One on the tour, donating one dollar from each ticket purchased in participating markets in support of MusiCounts Band Aid Program, which keeps music classes alive in schools across Canada and puts instruments into the hands of children who need them most.
