Jesse Mac Cormack – “Never Enough” (Secret City): High hopes are held for this Quebec singer/songwriter by his label, Secret City, as shown by the fact he’ll help them celebrate their 10th anniversary night by playing a gig in Paris. On Sept. 16, he’ll release new EP (his third)  After The Glow, and a video for this new single has just been posted.

This year has already seen song premieres by CLASH Music (UK) and The Line of Best Fit (UK), as well as video premieres by Les Inrocks (France) and The Fader (USA). His songs have generated more than 1.8 million streams and earned rave reviews internationally (Les Inrocks called him the “new hero of modern folk”).

The track features persuasive vocals and the production has something of an '80s vibe. Peter Gabriel strikes us as a reference point. A striking video accompanies the song.

Mac Cormack plays POP Montreal on Sept. 22 and plays nine dates in Europe and the UK in October. A man on the move indeed.
