The mid-summer season tends to see a slowing in new releases from the major labels, but the independents out there ensure there is still a plethora of new listening options over the next few months.

Fans of Canadian music certainly have plenty to look forward to, as artists set to release new albums between now and September include Whitehorse, Broken Social Scene, Silverstein, Arcade Fire, Alvvays, David Myles and Shania Twain.
