The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) is calling on members of the Canadian music industry to apply to become a judge for the 2018 Juno Awards.
The call for applications for Juno judges opens today (September 25) and closes Thursday, November 30 at junosubmissions.ca
Juno Week 2018 will be hosted in Vancouver from March 19 through March 25.
Key application dates:
● September 25, 2017 – Call for judges open
● November 30, 2017 – Deadline for judge submissions
● December 1, 2017 – Selected judges will be contacted
● December 8, 2017, to January 4, 2018 – Round 1 voting
● February 6, 2018 – Juno Awards Nominee Press Conference
● February 9 to March 2, 2018 – Round 2 voting
Judge Submission eligibility: Eligibility for the 2018 Juno Awards’ Call for Judges applies to Canadians who are actively working in the Canadian music industry. CARAS will review each application and select 340 judges, 10 judges per category, who are demographically diverse, spread out across Canada and represent various facets of the industry within each genre.
