Canadian music publishing and rights management company ole has announced it has reached an agreement with Corus Entertainment to become the preferred provider of production music to all third-party and in-house productions commissioned by the media firm’s television and radio brands.
The deal will supply Corus Entertainment with more than 750,000 tracks through the Jingle Punks, 5 Alarm and Cavendish libraries.
Corus Entertainment brands including Global Television, W Network, HGTV Canada, Food Network Canada, History, Showcase, National Geographic, Disney Channel Canada, YTV, Nickelodeon Canada, and Nelvana which is a leading creator and producer of children’s animated content. With content that is sold in more than 160 countries worldwide, the company's portfolio of television services encompasses 45 specialty television channels and 15 conventional television stations.
Jingle Punks has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville and Toronto, and a roster of 1,000 television shows including NBC's The Voice and the worldwide smash Pawn Stars.
