Monday night, the 28th Montréal SOCAN Awards Gala was held at La TOHU circus complex, with nearly 50 awards presented during the evening.
Two special achievement awards were presented to Robert Charlebois, who received the SOCAN Lifetime Achievement Award for his remarkable career, as well as the Cultural Impact Award, alongside his collaborator Claude Péloquin, for their classic song "Lindberg."
Performers at the Gala included Daniel Boucher, Émile Bilodeau, Diane Tell, Jérôme Charlebois, Canailles, Ariane Brunet, Alexandre Poulin, Beyries, Vincent Vallières, Matiu, and Jean-Michel Blais.
