The Strumbellas highly touted fourth album has its official release on March 29. The Canadian edition appears on the band’s Underneath A Mountain Records imprint, under exclusive license to eOne Canada, and internationally with Glassnote Records that is home to acts such as Mumford & Sons and Phoenix.

The release is teased with a video for “Salvation” that serves as the first single from the new album, currently at #12 on the Alt-Rock chart in Canada and quickly racking up 2M streams worldwide.

Produced by Tim Pagnotta (Elle King, Walk the Moon), co-produced and engineered by Brian Phillips, Rattlesnake was recorded on the band’s home turf, at the Bathhouse Recording Studio outside of Kingston, ON and at Revolution Recording in Toronto, ON.

The nine- tracks are described as “the sunny side of the street follow-up” to the band’s Billboard-charting third album, Hope, which featured the #1 single, “Spirits”.

“Well, after the last tour, Izzy had a baby, I got an English Bulldog, Darryl travelled to Bali, Jon built a cottage, Jer drove all the way across Canada in his 85’ Camper Van, Dave grew a moustache, and we made an album that we are really proud of,” Strumbellas’ singer, guitarist and songwriter Simon Ward allows. “Everyone in the band is enthused about going back on the road to play some new music.”

The release of Rattlesnake will be accompanied by a spring headline tour, which will take the band to Europe and across the US. They will be performing at the Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, AB on March 1 with more home dates TBA.
