Keelo D'Ville: Northside

Keelo D'Ville - Northside (DVine Media Group):  In the wake of the historic NBA championship victory by the Toronto Raptors last Thursday, it will come as no surprise if plenty of new celebratory tracks and videos are released in the near future.

One of the first out of the chute is this cut and clip from independent Ontario rapper Keelo D'Ville, who rolled out the video the same night the Raps beat the Warriors.

The track features free-flowing rhymes atop a sparse beat, and D'Ville deserves props for the Rick James reference. The video (shot and edited by Jerald Manlig) is also suitably fast-moving, with scenes of downtown Toronto helping set the stage. A highlight is the inclusion of a Kawhi Leonard lookalike.

At just 1.43 in length, the track will leave you wanting more, but look for it to boost D'Ville's profile.

No word on live appearances from the rapper as yet.
