Name that band:

Is it Kilowatt?

We’re not certain but this promo shot from the early ‘80s features Dallcorte Records’ Tim Trombley bookended by Bernie “the attorney” and Marty Onrot whooping it up with Q107’s Gary Slaight. Canadian indie imprint Dallcorte was short-lived but had a couple of big hits with (licensed) Elkie Brooks and The Drivers - a Brit-pop band whose debut album was produced by Terry Brown featuring singer Nick Van Eede who went on to glory with (I Just) Died In Your Arms Tonight (also produced by Brown).

For those too young to remember, Kilowatt included Guess Who alumni Bill Wallace and Greg Leskiw and the group's debut album was produced by Domenic Troiano.
