The Weeknd’s new hits collection The Highlights, debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, earning the highest digital song download sales and the second highest album sales and on-demand streams total for the week. It is his fifth straight chart-topping album going back to 2015 when Beauty Behind The Madness debuted at No. 1.
The No. 1 album from the previous four weeks, Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album, drops to 2nd place and continues to have the highest on-demand stream total for the week.
Foo Fighters’ Medicine at Midnight debuts at No. 3, picking up the highest album sales total for the week. It is the band’s fourth straight album to land in the top three and the first charted album since 2017’s Concrete and Gold hit No. 1.
Pop Smoke’s Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon drops to fourth place and Taylor Swift’s evermore falls to No. 5.
The only other new release to land in the top 50 belongs to Memphis, TN rapper Pooh Shiesty’s debut release Shiesty Season which places at 31.
