The 26th annual Honey Jam showcase, featuring a curated lineup of female artists from across Canada, including the first Yukon participant Sophie Noel, was live-streamed from Toronto’s El Mocambo Thursday night (Aug. 12) with a limited number of industry and alum invited to attend in person.

The performances ranged from a poignant message about protecting children from 12-year-old rapper DJ Love Jones, to a song of sisterhood, Drunk Girls In the Bathroom from country singer Cassidy Cummings to some “nightmare pop” from new Indica signing Carlyn.
